מסמך מדיני בכתב ערבי. ככל הנראה דו"ח, עצומה או המלצה מאת טלחה אלקבטי אל אישיות רמת מעלה, כנראה בקהיר. תיארוך: ככל הנראה מהתקופה האיובית או מאוחר יותר, על פי סגנון הכתב והפורמולות. הפנייה אינה מופנית לח'ליפה (כפי שהציעו בייקר ופוליאק) אלא לאישיות בכירה בלבד. הנמען מתבקש לדאוג למוסר הכתב, עת'מאן אל-[...], ולשלושה אנשים נוספים ולכל מלוויהם, ו"לא להפקירם בידי המצרים" (כלומר תושבי מצרים בכלל או בני פוסטאט). בצדו השני של המסמך מופיעים שרבוטים ואולי טיוטה של עצומה נוספת. דרוש עיון נוסף. Princeton Geniza Project description: State document, in Arabic script. Probably a report, petition, or recommendation from Ṭalḥa al-Qibṭī to a dignitary, probably in Cairo. Dating: Probably Ayyubid-era or later, based on hand and formulary. Not addressed to the caliph (as Baker and Polliack suggest) but merely to a dignitary. The addressee is asked to look after the bearer ʿUthmān al-[...] and three other men and all of their companions, and "not to abandon them to the Miṣrīs (either Egyptians or people of Fustat)."
