מכתב משפחתי בכתב ערבי. ככל הנראה השולח מברך את אביו על מעברו לקהיר החדשה, יחד עם אמו של השולח ועם אישה המכונה אל-חסנה. נזכר גם האמיר סיף אל-דולה, ולצד שמו ברכה: "fa-ʾasʾal Allah ʾan yajʿaluhu fī ḥayyiz al-salāma" (אבקש מאלוהים שישכנהו במחוז השלום). המכתב מורכב כמעט כולו מברכות. דרושה בדיקה נוספת. הצד האחר נוצל מחדש לטקסט בארמית, ככל הנראה (לפי FGP) זכריה ג:ב, ט; ד:ב (תוספתא להפטרות).
Princeton Geniza Project description: Family letter in Arabic script. It seems the sender is congratulating his father on his move to New Cairo, together with the sender's mother and a woman referred to as al-Ḥasana. Also mentions the amīr Sayf al-Dawla, accompanied by a blessing for him: "fa-ʾasʾal Allah ʾan yajʿaluhu fī ḥayyiz al-salāma". Consists almost entirely of blessings. Needs further examination. Reused on recto for an Aramaic text, apparently (per FGP) Zechariah 3:2, 9; 4:2 (tosefta to the haftarot).
