מכתב ביהודית-ערבית אל נכבד (יחיד הדור, סיידנא), אפשר ששמו אל-שיח' יעיש. המכתב מדווח על התפתחויות בקהילה לאחר שהנמען (או "סיידנא" אחר) עזב. מוזכרים אבו אל-פרג' ומסית-ומדיח שאמר: "שתוק!" ואינו מניח לאיש לומר לו מילה. הוא גם עובר בין שתי הסיעות בקהילה ומוסר לכל סיעה עלילות על האחרת. אין יום שאנשים אינם מגיעים לידי מכות ("עד מוות"). הכותב מבקש מהנמען לייעץ. צד הפנים שימש מחדש לתרגילי כתיבה בעברית.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter in Judaeo-Arabic to a notable (yeḥid ha-dor, sayyidnā), possibly named al-Shaykh Yaʿīsh. Reporting on developments in the community after the addressee (or another 'sayyidnā') departed. Involves Abū l-Faraj and a troublemaker who said, "You shut up!" And he won't let anyone say a word to him. He is also going between the two factions in the community and making up stories about the other faction. There is not a day without people coming to blows ("to death"). The writer asks the addressee to please advise. Reused on recto for Hebrew writing practice.
