Princeton Geniza Project description: Modern note containing monetary account in Ottoman gurush coinage. Location: Cairo. Dating: August (אגסטס) __69 CE. Based on the usage of pre-lined paper and scribal hand it seems likely that this is 1869. The tens digit is ambiguous enough that the scribe may have intended 1889. In any case, the contextual clues all point to late-nineteenth-century dating.
