יישוב סכסוך (ויתור הדדי) בין ברוך נשיא ב' אליעזר נשיא הקראי (מבני מקרא) לשבתי ב' מרדכי שבת הרבני (מבני משנה). מיקום: פוסטאט/קהיר. תאריך: יום שישי, ט' אדר ב' ה'ת"ד = 17 במרץ 1644 לספירה. ברוך מתואר כמולתזם לשעבר של 'אולם הזיקוק' (קאעת אל-תצפיה). שבתי לקח על עצמו מאוחר יותר את התפקיד ופרץ ביניהם סכסוך על כלי ברוך שנותרו מאחור, 'כגון אבק זהב ואבק כסף וג'נבאר(?) ושחתאת'.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Settlement of a dispute (mutual release) between Barukh Nasi b. Eliʿezer Nasi the Qaraite (מבני מקרא) and Shabbetay b. Mordekhay Shabbat the Rabbanite (מבני משנה). Location: Fustat/Cairo. Dated: Friday, 9 Adar II 5404 AM = 17 March 1644 CE. Barukh is described as the former multazim of the "refining hall" (qāʿa al-taṣfiya). Shabbetay subsequently took over as multazim and there ensued a dispute between them about Barukh's implements that were left behind, "such as gold dust and silver dust and jinbār (? גנבאר) and שחתאת."
