Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter of appeal for charity from Avraham b. Yitro of Damascus (al-Dimashqī). He opens with lengthy Hebrew blessings, then describes his sufferings (poverty, dependents, capitation tax) and asks for assistance. (Information from Goitein's index cards.)
