מכתב מאוחר בעברית, ככל הנראה משנת 1829 או 1729 לספירה (האותיות ע' וכ' מסומנות בציטוט מתהילים ל"ז:מ', כך שספרת המאה חסרה). לאחר הקדמות ארוכות, הכותב מתאר מקרה שבו אדם הפקיד בידיו כסף ("גרושוס"), ומעורבות בו ספינות "היוצאות לערי המזרח" מאלכסנדריה. מוזכרים מספר אנשים נוספים, ובהם אליעזר מאני ומשה [...] ויוסף הלוי. דרוש עיון נוסף.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Late letter in Hebrew, probably either 1829 or 1729 CE (the ע and the כ are marked in the citation from Psalms 37:40. . . so the century unit is missing). After prolonged introductions, the writer describes a case in which someone left money ("grosos") deposited with him and involving boats "leaving for the cities of the East" from Alexandria. Several other people are mentioned including Eliezer Mani and Moshe [...] and Yosef ha-Levi. Needs further examination.
