מכתב בעברית מאת המֻקדם (ראש הקהילה) של מנית זפתא, המודיע כי החרים חייב אחד בהתאם להוראת הנגיד. הנגיד היה זה שהסדיר קודם לכן עם החייב את פירעון חלק מהסכומים שהיה חב לנושיו, אך החייב הפר את ההסכם, ובעקבות זאת עמד נידוי לצאת נגדו על פי הוראתו של הנגיד. עם זאת, המֻקדם פונה ומבקש לאפשר לחייב ארכה של חודש או חודשיים. מתוארך לערך למאה ה-14.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter in Hebrew by the muqaddam (head) of the community of Minyat Zifta, announcing that he had excommunicated a debtor according to an instruction by the Nagid. The Nagid had previously arranged for the debtor to repay part of what was owed to his creditors, but he reneged on his agreement and an excommunication was about to be enacted against him as per the Nagid’s instructions.
