מכתב מאת שבתי בן אברהם הדיין של מניית' זפתא אל יהודה בן אלעזר הכהן. במכתב מתלונן שבתי על כך שאבו אלמכארם בן אבו אלד'ם (כנראה כינוי גנאי ולא שם אמיתי), אדם זר שהגיע מקהיר, פתח יחד עם שני שותפים חנות למשקאות רפואיים, ובכך גרם נזק ליהודים המקומיים.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter from Shabbetay b. Avraham the judge of Minya Zifta to Yehuda b. Elʿazar ha-Kohen. Complaining that Abū l-Makārim b. Abū l-Dhamm (this is probably an insult rather than an actual name), an outsider from Cairo, had opened with two partners a store of medical potions, thereby doing harm to the Jews.
