מכתב מיעקב בן אסמאעיל אלאנדלסי, מסיציליה, אל יאשיהו בן נתן בפוסטאט. נכתב סביב שנת 1050. המכתב מזכיר את "האויב", אך זהותו אינה ברורה. הוא עוסק בייבוא ובייצוא בין סיציליה ומצרים, ומפרט רשימה של סחורות ומחיריהן בסיציליה. בנוסף נמסר בו מידע על ספרי שאלות ותשובות שהיו שייכים למצליח בן אליה, דיין סיציליה. המידע מבוסס על גיל ועל מ' בן-ששון, יהודי סיציליה.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter from Ya’aqov b. Isma’il al-Andalusi, from Sicily, to Yoshiyyahu b. Natan, Fustat. Around 1050. The letter mentions “the enemy,” the identity of which is not clear. The letter deals with import and export between Sicily and Egypt. Details a list of goods and their prices in Sicily.
