מכתב ליפת בן ססון (המכונה גם חסן בן סרור), המתואר כ"הצנוע". רובו ביהודית-ערבית, ברכות הפתיחה בעברית והכתובת בכתב ערבי. לשולח בן בשם אליעזר. מוזכרת פגישתו של הנמען עם נשיא ("נצר משבט בית דוד"). המכתב מסתיים בדרישות שלום לכמה אנשים, ביניהם אבו אלסרור, אבו סעיד וילדיו, ואבו אלפצ'ל עלי בן בניאם. השולח מתלונן על חובת איסוף הצדקה למען היתומים. אותם שולח ונמען מופיעים גם בשני מכתבים נוספים.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter to Yefet b. Sason (aka Ḥasan b. Surūr) who is described as 'the Modest' (הצנוע). Mainly in Judaeo-Arabic, with the introductory blessings in Hebrew and the address in Arabic script. The sender has a son named Eliʿezer. Mentions the addressee's meeting with a Nasi ("the scion of the tribe of Davidites"). Ends with greetings to several persons (including Abū l-Surūr, Abū Saʿīd and his children, and Abū l-Faḍl ʿAlī b. Bunyām.). The sender complains about the duty of fundraising for the orphans. Same sender and addressee: T-S 8J38.6 (PGPID 3840) and BL OR 5542.33 (PGPID 6227).
