רישום משפטי (מס' 22) בפנקס בית דין קראי בקהיר, מיום כ"ז בטבת [ה'שכ"א] (1561). שנת ה'שכ"א מצוינת שתי רשומות קודם לכן, והסופר רומז אליה כאן ברשומה 22 בנוסח "סנה תארי׳". הדיון התקיים בביתו של יהודה הדיין, ועניינו מגע טרום-נישואין בין יוסף בן עבד אלחק אלחוואש לבין ארוסתו תרכיה(?) (תרכיה) בת עבד אללטיף אלמגרבי. מספר בני הקהילה הקראית מתייצבים בפני הדיינים ומספרים שראו את בני הזוג "מתנשקים" וכן "ישנים יחד תחת שמיכה אחת". השורות התחתונות של המסמך פגומות מאוד, ועל כן לא ברור כיצד הוכרע עניין האירוסין בסופו של דבר.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Legal record (#22) in a court register/pinqas from a Karaite beit din in Cairo (on f. 9r of Yevr.-Arab. I 328). Dated 27 Tevet [5321] AM (1561 CE). The year 5321 AM is given two entries earlier and implied by the scribe here in entry #22 as סנה תארי׳. Court case recorded in the home of Yehuda ha-Dayyan regarding premarital contact between Yosef b. ʿAbd al-Ḥaqq al-Ḥawwāsh and his fiancée Trkiya(?) (תרכיה) bt. ʿAbd al-Laṭīf al-Maghribī. Multiple members of the Karaite community appear before the judges to recount having seen the couple "kissing" and "sleeping together under a single blanket." The lower lines of the document are badly damaged so it is unclear how the case was resolved regarding the couple's engagement. MCD.
