I 328). מתוארך לשבט ה'שכ'ג (1562/63 לספירה). הכרת חוב של שמעון בן יעקוב הלוי הסומך אל-קודסי כלפי יהודי רבני, סלאמה אל-רבאן, על 340 נצף פידה (מדין) החייבים כדמי שכירות לבית בקודש/הקדש הקהילתי הקראי. שמעון מסכים להחזיר את היתרה בתשלומים חודשיים
Princeton Geniza Project description: Legal record (#55) in a court register/pinqas from a Karaite beit din in Cairo (on f. 19v of Yevr.-Arab. I 328). Dated Shevat 5323 AM (1562/63 CE). Debt acknowledgment by Shimʿon b. Yaʿaqov ha-Levi ha-Somekh al-Qudsī involving a Rabbanite Jew, Salāma al-Rabbān, for 340 niṣf fiḍḍa (medin) owed as rental payments for a house in the Karaite communal qodesh/pious endowment (waqf). Shimʿon and Salāma had set up some kind of loan related to the sum and now Shimʿon agrees to repay the balance owed to the Karaite pious endowment in monthly payments. MCD.
