Princeton Geniza Project description: Legal record (#56) in a court register/pinqas from a Karaite beit din in Cairo (on ff. 19v-20r of Yevr.-Arab. I 328). Dated 5 Shevat 5323 AM (1562 CE). The same person from the previous entry (#55), Shimʿon b. Yaʿaqov ha-Levi ha-Somekh al-Qudsī, forfeits (גלק) a sum of 60 gold ashrafī to Shemuʾel ha-Levi connected to a partnership that Shemuʾel had with his brother ʿAbd al-Jafār. Shemuʾel swears an oath on the Torah in connection with the sum of money. MCD.
