רישום משפטי (מס' 102) בפנקס בית דין קראי בקהיר, מתוארך לי"ט בכסלו ה'שכ"ו (1565). הסכם אירוסין בין החתן המיועד צדקה בן עבד אלדאים הלוי אלקדסי לבין הכלה פרג' בת אברהם בן דוד הלוי. תשלומי הנישואין מצד החתן הם: 50 דרהם + 30 [אשרפי זהב] + 25 אשרפי זהב 'ג'דד'. בנוסף לסעיף המונוגמיה, תנאי האירוסין כוללים גם קנס כספי של אשרפי זהב אחד שעל צדקה לשלם לפרג' אם יכה או יקלל אותה אי-פעם. צדקה מתחייב להעביר את תשלומי הנישואין בראש השנה (א' בתשרי ה'שכ"ז), ומועד החתונה נקבע לראש השנה שלאחריו (א' בתשרי ה'שכ"ח).
Princeton Geniza Project description: Legal record (#102) in a court register/pinqas from a Karaite beit din in Cairo (on f. 34v of Yevr.-Arab. I 328). Dated 19 Kislev 5326 AM (1565 CE). Betrothal agreement between the prospective groom and bride: Ṣedaqa b. ʿAbd al-Daʾīm al-Levi al-Qudsī and Farj bt. Avraham b. David ha-Levi. The groom's marital payments are: 50 dirham + 30 [gold ashrafī] + 25 gold ashrafī judad. In addition to the monogamy clause, the betrothal conditions also list a monetary fine of 1 gold ashrafī that Ṣedaqa must pay Farj if ever strikes or curses her. Ṣedaqa agrees to transfer the marital payments on Rosh Hashanah (1 Tishrei 5327 AM) and the wedding date is set for the following Rosh Hashanah (1 Tishrei 5328 AM). MCD.
