מכתב מעטא בן עמאר, ככל הנראה מקירואן, אל נהראי בן נסים בפוסטאט, מיום 22 בנובמבר 1047. הכותב שולח לנהראי עותק של ספר המקרא שהועתק על ידי הִלָּל (כתב יד ידוע ויקר ערך). אביו של הכותב, שנפטר בינתיים, הוא שהזמין את הספר, והכותב — שנזקק למזומנים — נאלץ למוכרו. לפי גיל.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter from Ata b. Amar, probably from Qayrawan, to Nahray b. Nissim, Fustat. November 22, 1047. The writer sent Nahray a copy of the Bible that was copied by the Hillal. The writer’s father, who passed away, ordered the book and the writer, who is in need for money, was obliged to sell it.
