מכתב מאת מוסא בן אסחאק בן נסים אלעאביד מאלמהדיה אל אברהם בן דאוד אלרחבי בפוסטאט, מתוארך בערך לשנת 1030. הכותב מספק סחורות מן המגרב, ובהן שמן זית, ריבת פירות, תבלינים ועוד (לפי גיל). המכתב כולל רשימת מחירים של סחורות מקומיות: פלפל, לכה, תבלינים, סוכר, אבנים יקרות ופנינים. המכתב נכתב בערב שלאחר צום יום הכיפורים (לפי כרטיסיות גויטיין).
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter from Mūsā b. Iṣḥaq b. Nissim al-ʿĀbid (al-Mahdiya) to Avraham b. Daʾūd al-Raḥbī (Fustat), ca. 1030. The writer supplies goods from the Maghreb, including oil olive, fruit jam, spices, etc. (Information from Gil, Kingdom, Vol. 2, p. 683.) Contains a list of prices of local goods: pepper, laque, spices, sugar, precious stones and pearls. Letter written in the evening after the fast of the day of Atonement.
