מכתב מג'לאל אלדולה בשמו של ישי בן שלמה אל הנשיא שלמה בן ישי, פוסטאט. נכתב ב-10 בינואר 1254 (לפי גיל). המכתב עוסק בספר שנמצא בעיזבונו של אבו אלפתח לאחר פטירתו. ישי מצהיר כי הספר שייך לדודו, הנשיא יאשיהו בן ישי, ולכן אין למכרו, אך הכהן נפיס אלדולה מעוניין לרכוש אותו עבור בנו. הם מבקשים מהנמען, השוהה בדמשק, הוראות כיצד לנהוג בעניין.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter from Jalal al-Dawla in the name of Yishay b. Shelomo to the Nasi Shelomo b. Yishay, Fustat. January 10, 1254 (Gil). Regarding a book that was found in Abu l-Fath’s estate after his passing. Yishay declares that the book belongs to his uncle, the Nasi Yoshiyahu b. Yishay, so it cannot be sold, but ha-Kohen Nafīs al-Dawla is interested in buying it for his son. They ask the addressee, who is in Damascus, for instructions about what to do.
