מכתב מאת אברהם בן פרח באלכסנדריה אל נהראי בן נסים בפוסטאט, מתוארך לסביבות שנת 1055. המכתב עוסק בתנועת הספינות בין אלכסנדריה לסיציליה וחזרה, ומזכיר כמה ספינות, ביניהן ספינתו של אבו אל-חוסיין בן אל-שארי וספינתו של אבן אבי עקיל. כמו כן מוזכר משלוח של שמן שהגיע במצב ירוד, והכותב מביע את דאגתו ממצב העניינים באלכסנדריה. Mentions several ships, including the ship of Abu al-Husain b. al-Shari and Ibn Avi Akil.
