מכתב מאברהם בן אבי אלחי, מאלכסנדריה, אל אחיו מוסא. נכתב בסביבות 1075. הכותב מתאר את הקשיים שהוא חווה, ובמיוחד את מצוקתו הכלכלית, שכן הוא תלוי בחיטה ובכסף שאחיו מוסא שולח אליו. גם אחותם, ג'רבּה, זקוקה לסיוע כדי שיהיו ברשותה המצרכים הדרושים לה לעבודת האריגה. אברהם משמש מלמד לילדים צעירים, אך התשלומים שהוא מקבל מועטים ואינם סדירים, ובנוסף חסרים לו כמה ספרים הנחוצים לעבודתו. המידע מבוסס על גיל, ארץ ישראל, כרך 3, מס' 472.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter from Avraham b. Abi al-Hayy, from Alexandria, to his brother Musa. Around 1075. The writer describes his difficulties, especially financially, as he depends on the wheat and money that Musa sends him. Their sister, Garba, needs help as well to have the products she needs for weaving.
