מכתב מאת עלי בן יכין, ככל הנראה מאלכסנדריה, אל אברהם הכהן בן אהרן בפוסטאט. סביב שנת 1050. עוסק בענייני כספים ותשלומים, ובכלל זה חוב בסך 50 דינרים. נזכרים בו גם רכישות, משלוחים ומסירת מכתבים. הכותב מביע את דאגתו בשל מחלות שפקדו את בני ביתו של הנמען ואת הקלתו על כך שהבריאו (שורה 6 בצד הפנים).

Regarding money and payments, including a debt of 50 dinars. Also mentions purchases, shipments, and delivery of letters.
