חשבון של הקֹדש: הוצאות בנייה והכנסות משכר דירה, בערך 1037 (מפורטות הוצאות לשנים 426–430 להג'רה = 1034–1039 לספירה). ההוצאות הרשומות הן עבור עבודות חרסית, נגרות ועבודות ביוב. כבר בתקופה מוקדמת זו הקֹדש אחראי על פעולות ניקיון ופינוי אשפה. חלק מההוצאות, כגון אלו של הפמוטים, קשורות ככל הנראה לבית הכנסת, אך רובן מתייחסות למתחמי הקֹדש. ההכנסות הן ברובן עבור תקופות ארוכות, ובמקרים מסוימים אף שנה שלמה. נזכרים מספר עיסוקים של אנשים שניהלו את עסקיהם בחנויות של הקֹדש: צורף, נהג חמורים, יצרן פלכים וסנדלר. נכתב בידו של יפת בן דוד בן שכניה. Princeton Geniza Project description: Account of the Qodesh: building expenditures and revenues from rent, ca. 1037 (specifies expenditures for the years 426–30 AH = 1034–39 CE). The expenditures listed are for clay work, carpentry, sewage work. In this early period, the qodesh is already in charge of cleaning operations and removal of garbage. Some of the expentitures, such as the candlesticks, are probably related to the synagogue, but the majority pertain to the compounds of the qodesh. The revenues are mostly for longer periods, in some cases even a whole year. Several occupations are listed, of people who had their businesses in shops of the qodesh: a jeweler, a donkey driver, a spindle-maker, and a shoemaker. Written in the hand of Yefet b. David b.
