רקטו: חוזה שותפות העומד במרכז שאלות משפטיות שהופנו אל דניאל בן עזריה, גאון ארץ ישראל. החלק התחתון של השטר פורסם בנפרד אצל גיל. ניסוח השטר ניתן להשוואה אל הציטוט המלא של החוזה בשאלה השנייה הנזכרת לעיל, וקיימים כמה הבדלים בפרטים בין שני נוסחי השטר — דוגמה לטענתו של פיל ליברמן בדבר ייחודו של כל "העתק" בשטרות הגניזה. צירוף: משה יגור. עותק נוסף של אותו חוזה נמצא בשטר אחר. החוזה מסדיר שותפות בין הסוכן הנוסע משה בן יהודה המערבי לבין שותפו חסן הכהן בן סלימאן. כדי להימנע מתשלום מיסים בסיציליה, נרשמה הסחורה על שמו של חסן, אשר היותו יוצא סיציליה פטר אותו מן המס. במהלך מסע הים נפטר משה, ולפיכך השאלות שהוזכרו לעיל דנות באופן שבו יוכל בית הדין היהודי למכור את סחורותיו כדי לפרנס את אלמנתו ובתו היתומה. ורסו: קינה. Princeton Geniza Project description: Recto: A partnership contract that is the subject of the legal queries to Daniel b. Azarya, the Palestinian gaon, edited in Gil, Palestine #395 (PGPID 508 ), #396 (PGPID 1783). The pharsing in this deed can be compared to the full quotation of the deed in the second query mentioned above. There are some differences in details between the two deeds, which is an example of Phil Lieberman's point on the uniqueness of every 'copy' in Geniza deeds. The lower part of the deed was edited by Gil (Palestine, #394). Join: Moshe Yagur. Another copy of the same contract is T-S 20.79. The deed sets the partnership between the travelling agent, Moshe b. Yehuda ha-Maʿaravi, and his partner, Ḥasan ha-Kohen b. Sulaymān, order to avoid the taxes in Sicily, the merchandise will be registered under Ḥasan's name, who as coming from Sicily is exempted from the tax. While on the sea journey Moshe died, and so the above mentioned queries discuss the matter in which his goods can be sold by the Jewish court in order to support his widow and orphan girl. Yehuda ha-Ḥazzan acknowledges receipt of a number of goods from [...] b. Salmān the broker. These include 13 dinars' worth of indigo, 35 1/2 dinars' worth of something else, and cinnamon.
