מכתב הממוען למי שמכונה "מולאי אלרייס". כתוב בעברית ובערבית-יהודית, כאשר הכתובת על גבי המכתב כתובה באותיות ערביות. במכתב מוזכרים מליג', אלמחלה ואבן אלחבראוי, וכן בואו של הכותב או של אדם אחר לפוסטאט, ומעבר לאלשאם (סוריה). הדיו דהוי מאוד והקריאה קשה — נדרשת בדיקה נוספת. קיים הטבע (imprint) של מכתב זה על גב מסמך אחר, ויתכן שהוא יסייע בפענוח חלק מן המקטעים הקשים לקריאה.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter to someone addressed as mawlāy al-rayyis. In Hebrew and Judaeo-Arabic with the address in Arabic script. Mentions Malīj, al-Maḥalla and Ibn al-Ḥabrāwī, coming to Fustat, and moving to al-Shām. Very faded. Needs further examination. There is an imprint of this letter on verso of CUL Or.1080 J47c (PGPID 19824), which might assist with reading some of the difficult phrases.
