פתק (השולח מכנה אותו 'ח'דמה') בכתב ערבי. הנמען מתבקש למסור 'את הדבר שאמרתי לך עליו' לידי מוסר הפתק. בהמשך נכתב: "מיד עם קבלת הח'דמה הזו, שלח לקרוא ל'אצחאב אלדואוין' והם יבואו אליך". המשך הטקסט אינו ברור, וייתכן שמשולבים בו רישומים שאינם קשורים לעניין (כמה שמות וספרות יווניות/קופטיות). נראה כי מדובר בטיוטה של מכתב לרשות בכירה, וה'ח'דמה' עשויה להתייחס לעצומה (פטיציה). צד ה-recto נוצל מחדש לשירה עברית.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Note (the sender calls it a 'khidma') in Arabic script. Instructing the addressee to give 'the thing which I told you about' to the bearer of the note. Then, "as soon as you receive this khidma, send after the 'aṣḥāb al-dawāwīn' and they should come to you." The continuation is not clear, and it may be interspersed with unrelated jottings (several names and Greek/Coptic numerals). It seems as draft of a letter to a higher authority, and the 'khidma' could refer to a petition. Reused on recto for Hebrew poetry.
