מכתב בכתב ערבי. כתיבה קליגרפית. התיארוך אינו ידוע. כנראה נשלח על ידי מחמד בן סלאמה (אלו המילים היחידות שנשתמרו מתוך הכתובת). שאר הטקסט הוא בעיקרו פורמולאי. מלבד זאת, הכותב מציין כי כבר שלח מכתבים קודמים, ומזכיר חבר או עמית שלו (צאחב לי), ואולי גם סחורה כלשהי (...בִּאלמתאע...). כמעט שום דבר נוסף לא נשתמר, אך הסיכויים למצוא קטע מצטרף (join) נראים די טובים.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter in Arabic script. Calligraphic. Dating: Unknown. Probably from Muḥammad b. Salāma (these are the only words from the address that are preserved). The remaining text is mostly formulaic. Apart from that, he says that he has already sent previous letters and mentions a friend/colleague of his (ṣāḥib lī) and maybe some merchandise (...bi-l-mutāʿ...). Essentially nothing else is preserved, but chances of a join seem pretty good.
