מספר מילים ממכתב בכתב ערבי. כתב גדול, רווח רחב בין השורות. מזכיר מסמך ממלכתי אך התוכן השמור נראה מסחרי: "שלחתי אותו עם שניהם לצורך קנייה..." (אצ'חבתהמא אייאה בי-רסם שירא...). שימש מחדש לפיוט עברי בדף הקדמי.
Princeton Geniza Project description: A few words from a letter in Arabic script. Large script, wide space between the lines. Reminiscent of a state document but the preserved content seems to be mercantile: "I sent it with the two of them for the sake of buying..." (aṣḥabtuhumā iyyāh bi-rasm shirā...). Reused for Hebrew piyyuṭ on recto.
