עצומה ו/או דוח משפטי אל הגאון (מצליח), בכתב ידו של חלפון בן מנשה (פעיל בשנים 1100–1138). התיעוד מתוארך לשנים 1127–1138, על סמך שנות פעילותו של חלפון בן מנשה ושנות כהונתו של מצליח גאון (1127–1139). שני קטעים מתחילת המסמך. הוא נפתח בתקבּיל ובדיווח על שאירע בערב הקודם בבית הכנסת בשעת תפילת ערבית. נראה ששלושה עדים באו "לזעוק" נגד מה שנעשה לפרנס אבו עלי, שהותקף והושפל. בפרשה מעורב גם אדם בשם אבו אל-חסן. בעת מתן העדות ייתכן שפרצה תגרה נוספת. מופיע ביטוי תמוה המחוק בקו ("מטוקיה חלק פי רקבתה"), ולאחריו אזכור נוסף של עלבונות (אל-שתאא'ם). לאחר שבר קטן ההמשך מופיע בקטע נוסף: "...הבגדים... אמר לו, 'יא פאעל יא צאנע'... אל תחנת המשטרה (אל-שֻרְטה) הזקן הזה... מכוערת עין, ובאו עדים... המוסלמים מן ה-... היהודים אל הקאדי...." החיבור בין הקטעים נעשה בידי אלן אלבאום ועודד צינגר.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Petition and/or legal report to the Gaʾon (Maṣliaḥ), in the hand of Ḥalfon b. Menashshe (fl. 1100–1138 CE). Dating: 1127–1138 CE, based on the active dates of Ḥalfon b. Menashshe and Maṣliaḥ Gaʾon's years of service (1127–1139 CE). Two fragments from the beginning. Opens with a taqbīl and a report about what happened the previous evening in the synagogue at the time of the Maʿariv prayer. It seems that three witnesses came to 'cry out' against what happened with the parnas Abū ʿAlī who had been assaulted and insulted. The situation also involves a certain Abū l-Ḥasan. As the testimony was being delivered it's possible that another brawl broke out. There is a perplexing phrase that is crossed out (מטוקיה חלק פי רקבתה) and then further mention of insults (al-shatāʾim). There is a small break and then continues in T-S AS 169.294, "...the garments... said to him, 'yā fāʿil yā ṣāniʿ' [cf. ENA 4010.7 + ENA NS 19.14]... to the police station (al-shurṭa) this elder... ugly (f.) of eye, and witnesses came... the Muslims from the... the Jews to the qāḍī...."
