מכתב מהקהילה הקראית באלכסנדריה אל ראש קהילתם, ובו תלונה על חוסר האונים וההתפוררות של הקהילה. לפי גויטיין במכתב משתקף מצב הקהילה ומצוקתה. הקלף עשה שימוש חוזר עבור חשבונות בערבית הכתובים בספרות קופטיות.
