מקטע ארוך ממכתב שכתב אדם הדן בין השאר בלימודיו של בנו, ומביע זעם על כך שלמרות מוניטין ללא רבב לאחר שישים שנות עיסוק במסחר, הוגשה נגדו תביעה משפטית. לפי גיל, הכותב הוא אסמאעיל בן אסחאק אלאנדלסי, והמכתב מתוארך לשנת 1050.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Long fragment of a letter by a man who, among other things, discusses the learning of his son and expresses outrage that, despite an impeccable record after 60 years of business, a lawsuit was being brought against him.
