Princeton Geniza Project description: Legal record (#112) in a court register/pinqas from a Karaite beit din in Cairo (on f. 36v of Yevr.-Arab. I 328). Dated 16 Iyyar 5327 AM (1567 CE). Incomplete dispute resolution against further physical altercations/insults between Raḍī b. Shemuʾel Berakha and the brothers ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz, Shelomo, Aharon, sons of Shemuʾel al-Fūlādī and their paternal cousin ʿAbd al-Jaffār b. Farjallah al-Fūlādī. The resolution contains a variety of stipulations that the parties agree to: they will not strike, curse, capture/chase, or control one another nor will they cause anyone else to do so whether Muslim, Christian, or Jew. Surprisingly, this incomplete legal draft lists an end date for the agreement of the following holiday of Shavuʿot (rather than a ban in perpetuity). MCD.
