חוזה שותפות עסקית שנשתמר באופן חלקי, בכתב ידו של הלל בן עלי (פעיל בין השנים 1066–1108 לסה"נ). על פי המסמך, יוסף לבדי סיפק סחורה בשווי 460 דינרים, שבה היה אמור לסחור השותף הפעיל ח'לוף. לבדי היה אמור לקבל שלושה רבעים מהרווחים, ואילו ח'לוף — רבע אחד בלבד. החוזה מתואר כ"מצ'ארבת אלתג'אר" (mudārabat al-tujjār), כלומר קומנדה של סוחרים, סוג של שותפות מסחרית הקובעת בדרך כלל חלוקת רווחים ביחס של שני שלישים מול שליש. במקרה הנידון כאן השותף הפעיל לא הביא השקעה משלו לעסקה, ולכן חלקו ברווחים נקבע בשיעור נמוך מן הרגיל.
Princeton Geniza Project description: IB I, 30. In this incompletely preserved contract written by Hillel b. ʿEli (fl. 1066–1108 CE), Yosef Lebdi provided merchandise worth 460 dinars with which the active partner Khallūf would trade. Lebdi will receive three-quarters of the profits and Khallūf one quarter. The contract is described as muḍārabat al-tujjār, a merchants' commenda, which normally provides for a division of two-thirds and one third of the profit. Here the active partner did not make an investment on his side and so his share in the profits was lower.
