שיר שבח לכבוד מצ'מון השני, שנכתב בקהיר לאחר שנת 1186. מחבר השיר היה ככל הנראה במצוקה כלכלית קשה ולא היה מסוגל לשלם את מס הגולגולת (ג'זיה), ולכן חיבר שירי שבח למספר אישים נכבדים, ובהם הרמב"ם, כדי לבקש מהם סיוע. טיוטות נוספות של שיר השבח שמורות בקטע נוסף (PGPID 5420).
Princeton Geniza Project description: IB II, 69a. Panegyric in Honor of Madmun II Cairo, after 1186. The author seems to have been in dire straits and unable to pay the poll tax, and he wrote panegyrical poems to a number of notables, including Maimonides, in order to request help from them.
