רקטו: קטע ממכתב של שמואל גאון בן חפני אל אחד מבכירי הקהילה בפוסטאט. מתוארך: אב שנת 1319 למניין השטרות, היינו יולי/אוגוסט 1008 לסה"נ. הכתיבה היא בידו של ישראל הכהן בן שמואל בן חפני (לפי גיל). השולח מבקש מהנמען להמשיך ולשלוח אליו מכתבים.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Recto: Fragment of a letter from Shemuel Gaon b. Hofni to one of the main members of the community in Fustat. Dated: Av 1319 Seleucid, which is July/August 1008 CE. In the handwriting of Yisraʾel ha-Kohen b. Shemuel b. Ḥofni (according to Gil). The sender asks the addressee to keep sending him letters.
