מכתב מנסים בן חלפון, ששהה במניית סמנוד, אל נהראי בן נסים בפוסטאט. נכתב סביב שנת 1056. עוסק בענייני חיטה וקמח. הכותב מתאר את הקושי בהשגת חיטה, מנסה לספק חיטה לבני משפחתו ומבקש את עזרתו של נהראי בעניין זה. מוזכרים גם לכּה (lacquer) ומשי. הכותב מודאג לשלום בני משפחתו ומבקש שבנו, אבו אל-חוסיין, ימשיך בלימודיו אצל המורה (אל-מועלִּם). על פי גיל.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter from Nissim b. Ḥalfon, from Munyat Sammanūd, to Nahray b. Nissim, Fustat. Around 1056. Regarding wheat and flour. It is hard to get wheat, and the writer tries to provide wheat to his family, and asks Nahray for his help. Also mentions lacquer and silk.
