שטר הרשאה (ייפוי כוח). מקום: תִּנִּיס (= חַנֵס). תאריך: יום ראשון, י"ג בתשרי ד'תש"ן = 15 בספטמבר 989. הפקיד טוביה בן יחיא מחלב ממנה את נטירא בן טוביה הכהן הנציבי/נֻצַיְבִּי (נטירא הכהן בר טוביה הנציבי) כשלוחו. אותו נטירא בן טוביה הכהן מנציבין מוזכר כאפוטרופוס של יתומים בתִּנִּיס בשטר משפטי עברי נוסף מאותה שנה (PGPID 9301). מזכיר את מימון בן סעיד. חתומים כעדים: הסופר צמח בן אברהם (המקיף את שמו במוטו), סהל בן יהודה, מימון בן אסד, והסופר שמואל בן חלפון (אף הוא מקיף את שמו במוטו).
Princeton Geniza Project description: Power of attorney. Location: Tinnīs (= Ḥanes). Dated: Sunday, 13 Tishrei 4750 = 15 September 989 CE. The paqid Ṭoviyya b. Yaḥyā of Aleppo appoints Neṭira b. Ṭoviyya ha-Kohen ha-Neṣivi/Nuṣaybī (נטירא הכהן בר טוביה הנציבי) as his agent. The same Neṭira b. Ṭoviyya ha-Kohen from Nisibis is mentioned as a guardian of orphans in Tinnis in another Hebrew legal deed from the same year (PGPID 9301). Mentions Maymūn b. Saʿīd. Witnessed by the scribe Ṣemaḥ b. Avraham (who surrounds his name with a motto), Sahl b. Yehuda, Maymūn b. Asad, and the scribe Shemuel b. Ḥalfon (who also surrounds his name with a motto). (Information from CUDL.)
