רקטו: מכתב רשמי, ככל הנראה דיווח לממונה. כתוב בכתב ערבי. המילים הראשונות של כ-26 שורות נשתמרו. פותח בנוסחה "העבד מחדש את נשיקת (האדמה)..." (אלממלוך יג'דד תקביל (אלארץ')). מוזכרים בו פרות ועגלים, וכן אנשים בשמות מחמד בן מדאפע ושבל אלדולה בן [...]. ורסו: שטר מסירה לא שלם של 48 חומרי רפואה (מטריה מדיקה) שונים, שמופיעים בו מספרים (מחירים) בלבד — ללא ציון משקלים או כמויות. הכתב הערבי ברור מאוד, והמספרים בספרות יווניות/קופטיות. Princeton Geniza Project description: Recto: Official letter, likely a report to a superior. In Arabic script. The first few words of ~26 lines have been preserved. "The slave renews the kissing of the ground...." (al-mamlūk yujaddid taqbīl (al-arḍ)). Mentions cows and calves and people named Muḥammad b. Mudāfiʿ and Shibl al-Dawla b. [...]. Verso: Incomplete bill of delivery of 48 different materia medica with numbers (prices) only (i.e., no weights or quantities). Very clearly written in Arabic script and Greek/Coptic numerals.
