מכתב מיצחק בן יוסף אבן גיאת בספרד אל חלפון בן נתנאל הלוי. התאריך המשוער: בערך 1138/39. רוב המכתב מורכב מדברי נימוסין וברכות. יצחק מאשר את קבלת מכתביו של חלפון, שלדבריו היו "מקוטרות מור ולבונה" (כתבך אלכראם מקוטרות מור ולבונה), משבח את אצילותו ונדיבותו של חלפון, ושואל אותו מתי בכוונתו לצאת לדרך במסעו.
Princeton Geniza Project description: IB ח91. Letter from Yiṣḥaq b. Yosef Ibn Ghyyāth, in al-Andalus, to Ḥalfon b. Netanʾel ha-Levi. Dating: ca. 1138/39 CE. The letter mostly consists of pleasantries. Yiṣḥaq received Ḥalfon's letters "perfumed with myrrh and frankincense" (כתבך אלכראם מקוטרות מור ולבונה), praises Ḥalfon's nobility and generosity, and asks him when he plans to travel. This document was not part of Goitein's original list, but was identified as a Ḥalfon document by M. A. Friedman, who included it in India Book IV.
