טיוטת מכתב מירושלים אל הקהילה בפלרמו, בעברית. התיארוך: המאה ה-11, מתקופת דניאל בן עזריה גאון, שנשא גם את התואר נשיא ונראה כי הוא הדמות הנרמזת בשורה 8. המכתב עוסק בפטירתו של סוחר ממצרים ובענייני הירושה שלו. בצדו השני של המסמך מופיע חיבור בענייני הלכות שחיטה.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter draft from Jerusalem to the community of Palermo. In Hebrew. Dating: 11th-century, from the time of Daniel b. ʿAzarya Gaon (who also bore the title Nasi and seems to be the person alluded to in line 8). The letter deals with the death of an Egyptian merchant and his inheritance. On the other side there is a treatise on the laws of ritual slaughter.
