שריד של מכתב שנשלח ככל הנראה מאלכסנדריה לאישיות בולטת בשם יסוד הישיבה, ובו מדווח כי אישה בשם עד'ביה בת אברהם (או אולי ערביה) ערבה לבעלה. במכתב מופיע הביטוי "תברּאת מן אלכתבה" (ויתרה על הכתובה). מצויות בו אזכורים חוזרים ונשנים ל"אסון הגדול הזה" וכן התייחסויות להליכים משפטיים שונים. המידע מבוסס על כרטיסיות גויטיין. יש לציין כי החלק התחתון של המכתב טרם תועתק, ואף אין ודאות שמדובר אכן בצירוף (join) של שני שרידים — בין היתר משום שהשוליים רחבים בהרבה. כמו כן, צדו האחורי של אחד השרידים לא דוגיטל.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter fragment apparently from Alexandria to a notable called Yesod ha-Yeshiva, reporting that a woman named ʿAdhbiyya bt. Avraham (or possibly ʿArabiyya) stood security for her husband. The phrase 'tabarraʾaat min al-ketubba' appears. There are repeated references to "this great catastrophe" and various legal proceedings. (Information from Goitein's index cards). NB: the verso of Bodl. MS heb. f 57/102 is not digitized. The lower portion of the letter awaits transcription, and it's also not clear if this is actually a join (for one thing, the margin is much wider).
