מכתב מאת אסמאעיל בן ברהון אלתאהרתי שנשלח מאלמהדיה אל אחיו, אבו אלסרור אסחאק בן ברהון. במכתב מדווח השולח על מה שעשו עבורו טאהר ושותפו, שהיו בעליה של ספינה הקרויה "אבן אלאסכנדר". בסוף המכתב מוסר השולח את ברכותיו לבני המשפחה. המכתב מתוארך למאה ה-11.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter from Ismāʿīl b. Barhūn al-Tāhartī in Mahdiyya to his brother, Abū l-Surur Isḥaq b. Barhūn, reporting what Ṭahir and his partner, who were the proprietors of a boat called Ibn al-Iskandar, did for him. At the end the sender conveys his greetings to family members.
