דף כפול מתוך פנקס בית דין. מתוארך בכמה רשומות לחודש כסלו ה'תצ"ו (1735 לסה"נ). הקריאה של הליגטורה הסופית כ"צו" מאוששת על ידי הכתיב של הכינוי המקובל יצ"ו אצל הסופר. במצטבר מופיעות במסמך אחת-עשרה רשומות, שלמות או חלקיות, על פני ה־recto וה־verso. (1) הערכת כתובה ותשלומה לאלמנה ששמה אבד עקב נזק. ייתכן שהאלמנה התגוררה בבולאק, וזאת על סמך אזכור פגום של נמל הנילוס בשורה הראשונה. השערה זו מתחזקת מן העובדה שהרשומה עצמה מקורה במסמך שנערך בבולאק, אך לא ברור האם פנקס בית הדין כולו נכתב שם. (2) רחמים זין מקבל השקעה בשותפות עיסקא מיצחק פינטוש(?) (פנטש) בסך כולל של 45 זהובי צ'ינזירלי. (3) הודאת חוב בין שלמה פסו ונסים פרובנסל לבין אברהם סראנו על סך 600 זהובי צ'ינזירלי. (4) רשומה פגומה הקשורה לעסקה שבה ישראל מימון קיבל סכום של זהובי פינדקלי ממי ששמו חסר. (5) אירוסין של יעקב בן מרדכי אורטאס ורחמה בת חיים מזרחי. (6) רחמים שבבו, המכונה גם זין, מקבל השקעת עיסקא נוספת בשותפות, הפעם ממשה מיוחס בסך 80 זהובי פינדקלי. (7) רשומה פגומה מאוד של מסמך אישות, אולי אירוסין בין בן נסים מעתוק להרמוזה בת דוד גרבוע. (8) הודאת חוב והסכם בין משה קסטלן לאמו רבקה בנוגע לסידורי המגורים שלה. (9) שותפות השקעה בסחר באלמוגים בין נסים נוח לבין האחים רחמים ו...ם(?) עלוש. (10) סכסוך מורכב בין הגרושה סניורה בת ידידיה בן-ידע לבין בעלה לשעבר יוסף ברוך. הרשומה ממשיכה ומתארת כמויות של בגדים, המכונים לעיתים "פניו" ו"רופה" בלאדינו, שסניורה זוכה לזכות למוכרם על דעת עצמה. ברשומה מעורב גם הסוחר רב ההשפעה אברהם סראנו. (11) הליכים הקשורים בהתאלמנותה הטרייה של שמחה המכונה מרקדה בת יוסף פלקון, הנשבעת שבועה כחלק מתהליך הערכת הכתובה ותשלומה. למרבה ההפתעה נשא בעלה המנוח את אותו השם כאביו (שמעון בן שמעון כהן). אולי אביו של האיש מת לפני לידתו. ייתכן שרשומה אחרונה זו מהווה את שורות הפתיחה של מסמך מס' 1, אך היא פגומה מכדי לקבוע זאת בוודאות. בין החתומים, ובפרט "עדים שניים" (ע"ב) ברשומות אלה, נמנים דוד סמחון, אברהם הלוי, אהרן חנון ויוסף בירב.

Princeton Geniza Project description: Bifolium from a court register. Dated in several entries as Kislev 5496 AM (1735 CE). This reading of the final ligature as צו is confirmed by the scribe's rendering of the common honorific יצ׳׳ו. A total of eleven complete or partial document entries appear on the recto and verso. (1) A ketubba valuation/payout for a widow, whose name is lost to damage. The widow may have been living in Būlāq based on the damaged reference to the Nile port in the first line. This also seems likely based on the fact that the entry itself is from a document that was originally recorded in Būlāq, but it is unclear whether the entire court register itself was drawn up there. (2) Raḥamīm Zayn receives an ʿisqa partnership investment from Yiṣḥaq Pinṭos(?) (פנטש) for a total of 45 gold cinzirli. (3) A debt acknowledgement between Shelomo Peso and Nissīm Provensal with Avraham Serrano for 600 gold cinzirli. (4) A damaged entry relating to a transaction whereby a certain Yisraʾel Maymūn recevied a sum of gold fındıklı from someone whose name is missing. (5) Engagement of Yaʿaqov b. Mordekhay Orṭas and Raḥma bt. Ḥayyim Mizraḥi. (6) Raḥamīm Shababo aka Zayn receives a another ʿisqa partnership investment, this time from a certain Moshe Meyuḥas for 80 gold fındıklı. (7) Badly damaged entry for a marital document, perhaps an engagement between b. Nissīm Maʿtūq and Hermoza bt. David Garbūʿ. (8) Debt acknowledgment and agreement between Moshe Qasṭlān and his mother Rivqa regarding the latter's living arrangements. (9) Investment partnership in the coral trade between Nissīm Nuḥ and the brothers Raḥamīm and ...m(?) ʿAlūsh. (10) A complex dispute between the divorcée Senyora bt. Yedidya Ben-Yadaʿ and her ex-husband Yosef Barūkh. The entry goes onto describe quantities of clothing, sometimes referenced as "panyo" and "ropa" in Ladino, that Senyora gains the right to sell of her own volition. The entry also involves the influential merchant Avraham Serrano. (11) Proceedings related to the recent widowhood of Simḥa aka Merqada bt. Yosef Falcon who takes an oath as part of the ketubba valuation/payout process. Her recently deceased husband surprisingly carried the same name as his father (Shimʿon b. Shimʿon Kohen). Perhaps the man's father had died before he was born. This final entry may comprise the opening lines of Document #1, yet, is too damaged to be certain. The signatories, specifically "second witnesses" (ע׳׳ב), for these entries include David Samḥūn, Avraham ha-Levi, Aharon Ḥanūn, and Yosef Beirav. MCD.
