Princeton Geniza Project description: Petition from a group of people. In Arabic script. Dating: Likely Ayyubid or Mamluk-era based on the handwriting, layout, and some of the vocabulary. The petitioners complain of the great harm they are suffering because the merchants have been prevented from entering their area. Some of the merchants' names are listed: Khalaf b. Nuwayra(?), Ḥamad b. Ḥaydar(?), ʿAlī b. Mūsā, ʿUmar b. [...], ʿAlī al-[...]
