תרגילי כתיבה בכתב עברי ובכתב ערבי, ובהם מגוון מרתק של טיוטות ותרגולי קליגרפיה בשתי השפות. הדיו וקווי הקולמוס נראים כיד אותו סופר עצמו. דרושה בדיקה נוספת לבירור התוכן. תיארוך: ככל הנראה סביב המאה ה-16. מקבצי הטקסט המשמעותיים ביותר בערבית בצד הפנים (recto) הם שניהם קטעים או טיוטות של מסמכים משפטיים. הראשון קובע כי מחמד בן עלי אלמאלכי חייב לסלמון בן הדיין מוסא אבן אל-[...], "בדיוואן הרם [כלומר בית הדין של מושל קהיר]" (בּי-אל-דיוואן אל-עאלי) שבקהיר, סכום כסף מסוים (שלא צוין) בדוקטים זהב חדשים בעלי ערך הילוך בפוסטאט ובקהיר (الذهب الجديد الدوكاتي الوازن الماضي في مدينت مصر والقاهرة المحروسة). הרשומה הבאה מתייחסת גם היא למחמד בן עלי ומכנה אותו קאדי. כמו כן היא מזכירה את אסחאק [...] היהודי הרבני המוכר בשם אבן בנימין (כלומר אסחאק בן בנימין). חלק מן הרישומים הנוספים מזכירים שמות אחרים, כגון אל-מעלם סמואל כוהן (שמואל הכהן). בצד האחור (verso) ישנן טיוטות של פתיחת חשבון (קאאמה מבארכה) הנוגע להכנסות והוצאות של אדם בשם אסחאק.

Princeton Geniza Project description: Writing exercises in both Hebrew and Arabic script, with a fascinating array of drafts and calligraphic practice across both languages. The ink and penstrokes appear to be the hand of the same scribe. Requires further examination for content. Dating: probably ca. 16th century. The most substantial text blocks in Arabic on recto are both excerpts or drafts of legal documents. The first states that Muḥammad b. ʿAlī al-Mālikī owes Salmūn b. al-Dayyān Mūsā Ibn al-[...] "in the lofty dīwān [aka the Governor's Court of Cairo]" (bi-l-Dīwān al-ʿ Ālī) in Cairo a certain sum of money (unnamed) in new gold ducats valid in Fustat and Cairo (الذهب الجديد الدوكاتي الوازن الماضي في مدينت مصر والقاهرة المحروسة). The next entry also refers to a Muḥammad b. ʿAlī and calls him a qāḍī. It also refers to Isḥāq [...] the Rabbanite Jewish man known as Ibn Binyamin (i.e., Isḥāq b. Binyamin). Some of the other jottings also refer to other names, such as al-Muʿallim Samawʾal Kūhān (Shemuʾel Kohen). On verso there are drafts of the beginning of an account (qāʾima mubāraka) regarding income and expenses of a certain Iṣḥāq.
