ספר הודו א, 8: פרוטוקול דיון משפטי מבית הדין בפוסטאט העוסק בסכסוך בין יוסף הלבדי, סוחר הודו, לבין יקותיאל בן משה, "פקיד הסוחרים" בפוסטאט. זהו צידו האחורי של הדף השני של הביפוליום שהיה בעבר חלק מאותו מסמך. גויטיין ציטט את הצד הזה בנפרד. בתחתית המסמך מופיע רישום נפרד (שאינו נמצא כאן) הנוגע לתלונתה של כרימה, המכונה ווחשה. צידו הקדמי של הדף מכיל את הטקסט של ספר הודו א, 15, והדף הראשון של הביפוליום מכיל את הטקסט של ספר הודו א, 3. במהלך מושב בית הדין הוסכם כי יוסף הלבדי יסדיר את חשבונותיו עם יקותיאל. לאחר מכן יהיה זכאי להוציא ממחסנו של יקותיאל את כל הסחורות שלגביהן אין ליקותיאל תביעה. שני הצדדים הסכימו שלא לפנות לערכאות של בית דין מוסלמי. המסמך כתוב בכתב ידו של הלל בן עלי וחתום על ידו, יחד עם יוסף בן יצחק ואברהם בן שמעיה החבר, מצאצאיו של שמעיה גאון.

Princeton Geniza Project description: IB I, 8. Court proceedings from Fustat dealing with the dispute between Yosef ha-Lebdi the India trader, and Yequtiʾel b. Moshe, 'the representative of merchants' in Fustat. This is the verso of the second leaf of the bifolium that CUL Add.3420 once comprised. Goitein cited this side as CUL Add.3420d. At the bottom of the document there is a separate record (not found here) dealing with a complaint of Karima, known as Wuhsha. The recto contains the text of IB I, 15 (PGPID 5378) and CUL Add.3420.1 contains the text of IB I, 3 (PGPID 5389). At this court session it was agreed that Yosef Lebdi should settle his accounts with Yequtiʾel. He would then be entitled to take out of Yequtiel warehouse all the goods to which the latter could not make claim. Both agreed not to appeal to a Muslim court. The document is written in the hand of Hillel b. Eli and signed by him, together with Yosef. b. Yiṣḥaq and Avraham b. Shema'aya he-Haver, descendant of Shema'aya Gaon.
