מכתב מאת מוסא בן ברהון אלתאהרתי באלכסנדריה אל יוסף בן עלי כהן פאסי בפוסטאט. התיארוך: בערך 1053. השולח סוכל בניסיונו להפליג לארץ ישראל בשל מזג האוויר בים, ובכוונתו לבלות את החורף באלכסנדריה. הוא כותב על שוק הפשתן באלכסנדריה. (המידע על פי גיל.)
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter from Mūsā b. Barhūn al-Tāhartī, in Alexandria, to Yosef b. ʿEli Kohen Fāsī, Fustat. Dating: ca. 1053. The sender has been thwarted in his attempt to travel to Palestine due to the weather at sea. He intends to spend the winter in Alexandria. He writes about the flax market in Alexandria.
