הסכם שותפות. מתוארך ליום שני, י"א בסיוון א'שמ"ז למניין השטרות = 8 ביוני 1036. גיל מזהה את כתב היד ככתב ידו של סהלאן בן אברהם. תוכן המסמך: שמואל בן סהלאן אלברקי הביא משלוח של פנינים מאת פראח' בן סהלון, מקירואן. שלושה מומחים חילקו את הפנינים בין שני השותפים. שמואל (אחד מהם) מבקש כי חלקו ישמש למסע ולמכירת הפנינים בחצי האי ערב, ובאופן ספציפי מצוין ג'דה. Princeton Geniza Project description: IB VII, 1. Partnership agreement. Dated: Monday, 11 Sivan 1347 Seleucid = 8 June 1036 CE. Gil identifies the handwriting as that of Sahlān b. Avraham. The contents are as follows: Shemuel b. Sahlan al-Barqī brought a shipment of pearls from Farrāḥ b. Sahlūn, from Qayrawān. Three experts are splitting the pearls between both partners. Shemuel (one of them) asks that his part would be used for traveling and selling the pearls in the Arabian Peninsula, specifically mentioning Jidda. (Information from Gil, Kingdom, Vol. 4, #799.
