עדות על ייפוי כוח בעניין עיזבונו של מוסא בן עלוש. תיארוך: 1046 (לפי גיל). מוסא, יליד ג'רבה, ניהל עסקים בסיציליה וטבע בדרכו לאלכסנדריה. הספינה הייתה שייכת למצ'עאד והובילה מטען של סחורות וכן נוסעים מוואל דמונה שבסיציליה (הנכתב "דמוניש", ככל הנראה משום שהוגה "דמונס"). הספינה טבעה, וכל הנוסעים בה טבעו עמה. האנשים שטיפלו בנכסיו של מוסא בן עלוש, ובהם הדיין מצליח בן אליהו ואבי מוסא, מאשרים כי כל ממונו שייך לשותפו ברכיה בן נסים. ברכיה מוסר את הכסף ליהושע בן נתן לצורך רכישת סחורות. Princeton Geniza Project description: Testimony about power of attorney regarding Mūsā b. ʿAllush’s bequest. Dating: 1046 (Gil). Mūsā, from Jerba, had businesses in Sicily and drowned on his way to Alexandria. The ship belonged to Miʿḍād and contained a cargo of merchandise as well as passengers from Val Demone (spelled Dimunish, apparently because it was pronounced Demones), in Sicily. The ship sank, and all aboard were drowned. The people involved in managing Mūsā b. ʿAllūsh's belongings, including the judge Maṣliaḥ b. Eliyyahu and Abī Mūsā, approve that all of his money belongs to his partner Berekhya b. Nissim. Berekhya gives the money to Yehoshuaʿ b. Natan for purchase of goods.
