מכתב מסמחון בן דאוד אבן אלסקלי (קירואן) ליוסף בן יעקב בן עוכל (פוסטאט). המכתב עוסק בסכסוך שפרץ בין השולח לנמען סביב משלוח של עץ ברזיל (ברזיל-וווד), אשר סמחון בן דאוד שלח לספרד בניגוד להוראותיו של יוסף בן עוכל. מהלך זה גרם לעיכוב בתשלומים ולנתק בקשרים בין השניים. (המידע מבוסס על גיל.)
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter from Samḥūn b. Dāwūd ibn al-Siqillī (Qayrawān) to Yosef b. Yaʿaqov b. ʿAwkal (Fustat). The letter deals with a conflict between the sender and the recipient over a consignment of brazilwood, which Samḥūn b. Daʿūd sent to Spain against the instructions of Yosef b. ʿAwkal.
