מסמך משפטי. מקום: קהיר. תאריך: אלול א'תצ"ג למניין שטרות = אוגוסט 1182. עניינו העברת בעלות על שישית מבית תמורת 21 דינרים. הרופא אבו מנצור שמריה בן עלי, המוכר בכינויו אבן עאדי, מוכר את הנכס לשותפו הצבּע אבו סעד בן אבו אלעלאא הצבּע. המוכר שומר לעצמו את הזכות להשיב את הכסף ולבטל את העסקה עד עצרת של אותה שנה. נכללים בשטר תנאים בעניין תשלומי שכר הדירה והוצאות בנייה בתוך פרק הזמן הזה. חתומים: יעקב בן אליה החבר ומנשה בן אלעזר. אישרו את תקפות השטר: יהודה בן משה, שמואל בן אברהם והמלמד מבשר בן עלי.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Legal document. Location: Cairo. Dated: Elul 1493 Seleucid = August 1182 CE. Regarding the conveyance of 1/6 of a house for 21 dinars. The physician Abū Manṣūr Shemarya b. ʿEli known as Ibn ʿĀdī sells this property to his partner the dyer Abū Saʿd b. Abū l-ʿAlāʾ the dyer. The seller retains the right to return the money and cancel the sale until ʿAṣeret of this year. There are stipulations about rental payments and construction expenses during that window.
